When Mystery Inc. met Miyumi, Daphne Blake's Japanese pen pal and student at Mirimoto Academy, she took them on the hover jet to the aforementioned place. It was then used on a mission to a remote island in the Pacific to find the Temple of 1000 Steps and then the Sword of Doom. The plane was completely automatic; it needed no pilot and Velma Dinkley was able to operate it by remote control from her laptop.
