He was the father of Darth Kadant and husband of Urilia De'naan. It was later revealed that he was indeed not the biological father of Kadant which explained the bitterness he displayed toward his "son". His death at the hands of his "son" was also revealed to be apart of Urilia Den'aan's plan to raise up a new Dark Lord to replace Revan and Malak.
