| - As Dr. Eggman, Scratch, Grounder, and the Badniks were ready to go to the crystal empire party, Eggman opened the door, and he said, "Now remember, when you're introduced to King Rabbit and his daughter, Princess Tagalong, make sure to--" "Wait!" A voice called. It was Thumper, who was now wearing a light blue tuxedo, a purple bow tie, and shiny black shoes, "Please, wait for me! Isn't lovely? Do you like it? Do you think it will do?" "Well whatdya know? He looks great and wonderful!" Grounder sobbed smiled, as he blew his nose on a tissue. "Oh, yeah? Don't you think so, Davy?" Eggman asked.

"Well whatdya know? He looks great and wonderful!" Grounder sobbed smiled, as he blew his nose on a tissue. Flik, Zipper, and the other bugs watched down from the stairs, smiling. "Thumper?!" Sir Ffuzzy Logik gasped in shock, and the badniks panicked. "Stop right this instant!" Eggman demanded, as he continued, "After all you do look very impressive. Don't you, Thumper?" Thumper smiled, and Eggman slowly walked towards him. "And I never go back on my word." Thumper gulped in fear, "How very clever." "Wait a minute, there's something strange going on." Flik added curiously. "This bow tie. It gives it just the right touch." Eggman said. "Well, that's very nice of you. Thank you." Thumper smiled. "Oh, yeah? Don't you think so, Davy?" Eggman asked. "No, I don't. I think he's--" Davy Sprockett said angrily, but he gasped and he exclaimed, "Ugh! Why you little thief!" "Don't you dare!" Scratch and Grounder demanded, as Zipper was about to fight the villains only to get stopped by Flik. "That's my bow tie!" Davy Sprockett shouted, "Give it here!" He snatched the bow tie, scaring poor Thumper. "Oh, no! Oh, my goodness! Don't! Please, stop! You're hurting my feelings!" Thumper sobbed. As the Badniks tore Thumper's outfit, Thumper panicked, crying. "Boys! That's quite enough." Eggman demanded. "What have you done?" Scratch snarled at Eggman, but Eggman pushed him. "Now, come. We must get going." Eggman said, turning to Thumper, "Goodnight." Thumper gasped in fear, then he started crying, running to the lagoon, and sobbing, "It's not fair. I'll never get to go to the party!"
