abstract
| - Toby Longworth is a British actor who worked on Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. He began working on 1996, playing a DJ as a guest in British comedy Next of Kin. He also acted as one of the main characters for The Office, a TV pilot that did not became a series. He did not worked again as an actor for TV or cinema till 1999, where he played guest again in the fourth season of Murder Most Horrid. On that same year, he also voiced two different characters for Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace: The senator of the Trade Federation, Lott Dod ("I object!") and the Swokes Swokes gorgmonger Gragra. However, he was not dressed for the occasion; Dod's role would be played by a different actor, Neimoidian-expert Silas Carson. Although Dod would reappear for further installments of the movies, Longworth was not called again for that series. On 2000, Longworth worked on Imogen Kimmel's strange comedy Secret Society, and he made a recurring character, Mike Burns, in sitcom comedy Barbara. He also became one of the writers for the TV comedy Human Remains, where he also made a guest appearance (as Dr. Boxer on the fifth episode). Longworth became one of the main actors in animated sketch show Pen Monkeys, and he also contested for three times in game Back in the Day. As a geek role, he voiced comic-book character Judge Dredd in the video-game Dredd vs Death, sanctioned by 2000 AD Magazine, and a series of audio dramas, one of which featured Garrick Hagon as the voice of the main antagonist. He also played Wulf Sternhammer, and a Vogon in radio adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He has worked on different radio productions and audio dramas, including the Dr. Who series.

He has also appeared in many other audio dramas by Big Finish Productions including their Doctor Who spin-off range and taking the lead role as Judge Dredd in their line of audio plays based upon the 2000 AD series. One of Longworth's most notable performances for Big Finish was in Judge Dredd: Solo, in which he provided the voices for all 34 roles, occasionally with the aid of vocal effects and multi-track recording but often by simply using his own abilities to impersonate multiple characters.
