In the years following the Third War, a large amount of bounty hunters and adventurers began to show up around Stormwind City in the hopes to make a living off of hunting criminals. Within several months of the Cataclysm, Benjamin Marcurio, an ex-rifleman from the Gilnean Army and now cursed as a worgen, arrived in Stormwind in order to escape poverty. He purchased a property with the savings he had and took up residence in the Langston-owned Pig and Whistle, where he worked to pay for his stay. Benjamin briefly considered taking up arms in the Alliance Military, but declined any offers to join as he did not wish to be drafted to fight the Horde. He required more money in order to finally move out of the inn, although the death of three of the family members resulted in a massive decrease
