Im new to wookieepedia and want to know if i can add fan made content.
* Fan made content is utterly forbiden, except on your own user page. Only official information can be made into articles. See also canon. -- SFH 17:22, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
* And by "utterly forbidden", I think we mean it needs to be about as notable in the Star Wars fan community as a fanfilm like TROOPS. And if it is that notable, it gets a single article written about it, must be clearly marked as non-canon, and will only be mentioned in the "Behind the scenes" section of in-universe articles on canonical subjects, if at all. If it's something you invented yourself, that probably just simplifies to "utterly forbidden," though. Try the Star Wars Fanon wikia. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:14, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

* What both of those people mean is that there are two possible answers to your question. 1) No. Putting in fan made content into existing articles is not ok. Creating fan-made articles is not ok. 2) Writing about notable fan made subjects as part of the Star Wars community is fine. And thank you VERY MUCH for asking. Fanon is a big problem here.--The Erl of the Forum:SH Archive/Fan made content? talk What I do 00:33, 20 April 2006 (UTC) Another thing for fan made things it has to follow the order of things and has to fit somewhere. Okay what I am saying is wrong with fan made stuff is that you need more people to recognize what the thing you are writing about and then just maybe you can get it on Wookieepedia.(DarthVader7.0)
* But again: if you write a fanfic. And everyone agrees it's better than all the books. You still cannot make an article about it as though it were an official book. You can write about it as a community phenomenon, but not as an official one.--The Erl of the Forum:SH Archive/Fan made content? talk What I do 01:04, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
* Definitely don't start by posting an article about it here....8) —Silly Dan (talk) 01:05, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
