The RG560 is one of only a handful of RG models with humbucker/single/single pickup configuration. It was made in Japan by FujiGen. The RG560 features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret fingerboard with dot inlays. Components included Ibanez pickups and a double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut. For 1990, the volume pot was relocated slightly further from the bridge pickup to prevent interference with the tremolo bar. The pickups also received a visual update with new logos.
