- Street Fighter is a fighting game series created by Capcom. It's known to be one of the first and most popular fighting game franchises, and is a large inspiration for the M.U.G.E.N game engine. Street Fighter characters are some of the most common M.U.G.E.N characters, and almost every character from it has been made for M.U.G.E.N. The series itself has spawned over 5 main titles along with several remakes and updates. The series has also crossed over with other Capcom series as well as SNK, Marvel, Namco, and Tatsunoko characters.
- Street Fighter is one of the best selling franchises, and it is owned by Capcom. There are over 80 titles in this series. The franchise has sold 38 million software units for home systems, and 500,000 coin-op hardware units for arcades. It is Capcom's highest-grossing franchise, and one of the highest-grossing franchises of all time, having earned over $15 billion revenue from arcades and software.

- Street Fighter was a very average Fighting game with Very loose Controls. Special moves were a mere Legend, 3 Hadoukens would kill someone, and Ryu Spoke English! Sagat was the Last boss of the game. Gen, Eagle, Birdie, and Adon where all in this game (they would all later appear in the Street Fighter Alpha Series.) 2P can Use Ken. OH, and Ryu had Red hair. LOL Basically Ryu was a Young man that completed his training and decided to test it in this Street Fighter Tournament to become "King of the Hill" (WTF Sagat?). - Street Fighter is a skit-off adaptation of the classic fighting game Street Fighter, made at FFF. It uses a 2D camera perspective as someone fights people on the street. When the first fighter is killed, a narator asks the audience o choose another character. Jack is chosen, and the game continues. The rest of the skit documents the crew waking to Cumberland Farm to ask the man there for gum. However, Cumbies was closed when they got there so the rest of the skit is the cast swearing as the camera flips on and off. In a cliactic scene, Jack yells "STALIN" on the steps of a church.

- Street Fighter, introduced to the public in 1987 by Capcom, has served as one of the most impressive and accurate Real-Time Strategy games for over two decades. It has since gone on to become the only game in history where over 20,000 variants of the same game now exist.

- The film altered the plot of the original game and motives of the Street Fighter characters. It also significantly lightened the tone of the adaptation, inserting several comical interludes (for instance, one particular fight scene between E. Honda and Zangief pays homage to the old Godzilla films). Two video game tie-ins based on the film were released which used digitized footage of the actors performing fight moves, similar to the presentations in Pit-Fighter and the Mortal Kombat series of games.
- The original Street Fighter features a cast of twelve fighters: two playable characters and ten CPU-controlled opponents. The player takes control of a Japanese martial artist named Ryu, who competes in an international martial arts tournament to prove his strength. The second player takes control of Ryu's former training partner and rival Ken Masters, who challenges Ryu in the game's 2-player matches. Normally the player takes control of Ryu in the single-player mode, however if the player controlling Ken defeats Ryu in a 2-player match, then the winning player will play the remainder of the game as Ken. The differences between the characters are mainly aesthetic, as both of them have the same moves and techniques.
- Street Fighter (ストリートファイター), commonly abbreviated as SF , is a popular series of fighting games in which the players pit combatants from around the world, each with their own special moves, against one another. Street Fighter II is largely credited with setting the standards for all future games to come, and is regarded as a true classic series, (though still not the first game ever released). Capcom released the first game in the series in August 1987. In 1989, a beat em' up called Final Fight was created by the team who eventually would develop Street Fighter II. Eventually the Final Fight series merged into the Street Fighter canon when the Street Fighter Alpha series was made, giving many Final Fight characters frequent appearances in the games while some Street Fighter characters appe

- Street Fighter(ストリートファイター) is a 1987 arcade game developed by Capcom. It is the first competitive fighting game produced by the company and the inaugural game in the Street Fighter series. While it did not achieve the same worldwide popularity as its sequel Street Fighter II when it was first released, the original Street Fighter introduced some of the conventions made standard in later games, such as the six button controls and the use of command based special techniques.
