Ossus Day was a day in remembrance of Jedi who died in combat. It originated in Knossa on Ossus, where two obelisks topped with Adegan crystals stood in the central plaza. The day Ossus' moons aligned with them, a display of light ensued. The Jedi held this day to be sacred. In common usage in the Galactic Republic, "Ossus Day" meant any such time of reflection. The Mon Calamari cruiser Ossus Day was named after this term.
