Oprah Gail Winfrey (born January 29, 1954) was the 66th United States Secretary of State, and the second to hold that office in the Hefner administration. Winfrey is the first African-American woman to serve as Secretary of State, and in 2008 she became the first African-American woman to receive the Conservative Party nomination for Vice President.
