Trip participants will spend a week in beautiful Siem Reap, home of one of the must see wonders of the world, Angkor Wat. You can look forward to 3 days at The PEPY Ride School volunteering with the children, painting murals, working in the garden, teaching workshops, and brightening their lives and yours. One day exploring the temples of Angkor with 50 children from The PEPY Ride School, a day long boat ride on the Tonle Sap to see floating villages, an environmental education center, and other surprises. Other highlights include a pass to the Angkor Wat temple complex including sunset and sunrise visits, a visit to a fascinating old market, a traditional Khmer dance performance, and traditional Cambodian feasts. When: March 24th-31st 2007 (optional trip to Cambodia's exciting capital Phnom Penh March 21st-24th) Where: We will be staying at a wonderful English-speaking guesthouse in Siem Reap called Earthwalkers. How Much: Trip cost is $600 plus your flight. The cost includes (all this plus a lot more!) the guesthouse, all breakfasts, most lunches and dinners, local transportation, transport to and from Siem Reap's international airport, admission to the Angkor Wat Temple Area, and the chance to brighten your life, as well as the lives of the children you meet, by making a difference as you travel. All participants are also asked to raise $500, which will support PEPY's ongoing education initiatives and better the lives of hundreds of Cambodian children!
