- Keys to the Kingdom is a fantasy series of seven books written by Garth Nix (who also wrote the Old Kingdom Chronicles). The books are Mister Monday, Grim Tuesday, Drowned Wednesday, Sir Thursday, Lady Friday, Superior Saturday and Lord Sunday. The series focuses on Arthur Penhalligon, who due to events is chosen to inherit the kingdom of the Architect, and must reclaim the keys from the seven trustees. He ventures into the House, the epicenter of time and space, and many parts of the Secondary Realms (different universes) in his adventures and meets his friends. Each trustee represents a different day of the week and a different deadly sin.
