Khemer Malamh al-Amun (August 3186 - July 3276), also known as Syed III if reigning sultan, is the youngest nephew of Syed II. Khemer Malamh was born in the countryside of Borneu. After receiving an early education in Islamic classics and traditional art, he established a public primary school in the Borneu proveince in 3216 with support from his father. He was the principal of the school while his sister was a teacher there. The school was later donated to the People's Republic of Jakania government, and Khemer Malamh al-Amun continued working as a teacher until retiring in 3236. In his retirement, Khemer Malamh al-Amun has written books on the history of the House of al-Amun and its importance.

This was complicated by the fact that Jakania's last sultan Syed II wrote in his decree that only children of his blood are to inherit his throne. Nevertheless he was appointed by the deposed royal family as Pretender of Jakania until his death.
