| - Nope, not really. His adamantium skeleton makes him seemingly invincible. There was one issue where he was burned down to just his skeleton, and still was able to regenerate and live after that. Kaihedgie 06:41, 18 June 2009 (UTC) WHOOPS! Correction. It's not the adamantium skeleton that makes Wolverine nearly unkillable, but his HEALING FACTOR. That is how he survived to Magneto extracting the adamantium coating from his bones, but since it was a very painstaking process, he took longer to recover from there - and, after the process, his healing rate gradually went back to normal before he reacquired the adamantium. DiamondStarHalo 19:34, 18 June 2009 (UTC) There was a story arc where Wolverine ingested a bomb. His body regenerated but his mind was left in purgatory. Although the arc was advertised as 'The Death of Wolverine', his death lasted approximately one issue (and his body was technically still alive). Hope this helps! =) Telos 11:06, 18 June 2009 (UTC) There is an issue where wolverine explains to a resqued mutant how he can be killed. This can be read in Wolverine: Dangerous games. Anyway, Wolvie can be killed by means of the Muramasa blade, which acts as a great countereffect to healing factor. He used it himself to decapitate Sabretooth, remember? DiamondStarHalo 19:34, 18 June 2009 (UTC) Yep, I've got the issue. That's kinda like his "fail-safe". Wolverine has entrusted the blade to Cyclops and given him instructions to use it against him in the event that he becomes truly feral.
