Victor Carin (1st October, 1933 - 2nd January, 1981) played Doctor McKenzie on Coronation Street in August 1967. His other credits include Doctor Who,Dr. Finlay's Casebook, The Stanley Baxter Show , Sutherland's Law, Raffles, Play for Today and The Omega Factor. Before his death, he became script editor of the Scottish soap Take The High Road. His death from cancer was covered in a controversial television documentary in which he was interviewed about dying.
