- The Manhunter is a superhero who has died, but has been cloned a number of times over the years. He was first active in the 1940s, when he first took on the role of a superhero.

- Manhunter (ミフチ or 深淵, Mifuchi) is a giant demon and the first to be fought in the single player narrative. It is a large black spider demon with a lion-like face. Its sharp sickles are said to have been drenched in the blood of countless prey.

Since Manhunters never upgrade themselves, upgrading a recruited Manhunter is the only way to get higher-tier Manhunter troops.
