Enver Pasha (Ottoman Turkish: , ) or Ismail Enver Pasha (, , born Ismail Enver) (November 22, 1881 – August 4, 1922) was an Ottoman military officer, a leader of the Young Turk revolution, and one of the principal orchestrators of the Armenian Genocide. He was the main leader of the Ottoman Empire in both Balkan Wars and World War I.
