The training for Kimagure is brutal and dangerous, with rigorous and regimented training a daily part of life. Kimagure consists of three segregated teaching units, called "Tiers". These Tiers of Kimagure train the initiate in the ways of the art, while simultaneously training him in its philosophy. They are as follows:
