| - The Antimone Liberation Army, or ALA, was an organization started in response to the Antimone government's surrender to the Nall in the Birthright War. A small organization mostly recruited from the ranks of the Antimone Militia, it was active from February until June 3005. Efforts at resisting the Nall occupation were largely unsuccessful due to lack of resources, and the ALA mostly concentrated on hindering supply lines and trade between Antimone and the occupiers. This hindering extended to assassination of various officials who recommended further cooperation with the Nall, though no one of high rank was affected. These actions made the ALA largely unpopular among much of Antimone's people, especially when a squad of theirs took a Militia ship, renamed it the Valsho Freedom and flew off to the Junkyard in March to join other exiled militias there. This group of roughly half their forces participated in the Battle of the Junkyard in early April, however, doing much to redeem the ALA in the eyes of those not staunchly opposed to war. The Valsho Freedom returned to Antimone stealthily in early May, but word of its arrival travelled to the ears of those worried about Nall reprisal. A small group of citizens rigged the ship's landing pad with explosives and also opened fire on those disembarking, with only five of the forty men on board surviving the attack. These five were pardoned for their efforts in the war in a deal brokered by the leader of the ALA, a man who had remained planet-side and was known to his underlings only as 'The General'. This deal, called the Valsho Freedom Amnesty, only pardoned those who had participated in the Battle of the Junkyard; other members of the ALA were tried, and some convicted of various crimes. The General himself, revealed to be a high-ranking militia officer named Adiez Meliarin, accepted full responsibility and was sentenced to life in prison on a myriad of charges in the summer of 3005.
