The seals and incantations found in the Lemegeton are allegedly the seals that he used to answer questions, defeat enemies, satisfy desires, call up demons and spirits, and even cause natural disasters. There are 72 seals or sigils to be found in the Lemegeton, each of them referring or calling upon the aid of a Spirit having a different power, and a different purpose. There are primarily two groups of seals, 36 in each group, with one group of 36 being attributed to black magick or negative effects, and the other group of 36 being attributed to white magick or positive effects, although a great number of the Spirits actually seem to fall into gray areas, one must fully read the description of the Spirit to understand what it is, what it looks like, and what it does.
