Ian Hideo Levy(リービ 英雄Rībi Hideo, born November 29, 1950) is an American born-Japanese Language author. He was born in California and educated in Taiwan, America and Japan. His English translation of the Man'yōshū won him the National Book Award in 1982. In 1996 his story Tiananmen was nominated for the Akutagawa Prize.
