The Béyémoz-class gigantor droid dropship was a very large dropship built by the Ingza for deploying Gigantor-class battle droids into battle. An enlarged version of the Mónstá-class troop dropship, the Béyémoz and Mónstá-class dropships were both based on the old Theta-class AT-AT barge and the Y-85 Titan dropship. Béyémoz was Ingzan for Behemoth, an apt description for the dropship. There was also a vehicle dropship variant, this variant carried land vehicles like the FT-2 Floating Tank and LFT-2 Light Floating Tank to the surface.

abstract
  • The Béyémoz-class gigantor droid dropship was a very large dropship built by the Ingza for deploying Gigantor-class battle droids into battle. The Imperial Army of the Ingzan-Bregaran Empire used them to deploy Gigantor-class battle droids, but at forty-five feet tall the Gigantor was to tall to fit into many of the Navy's ships so they just used it like an enlarged Mónstá-class troop dropship. They could fit far more marines in to the Béyémoz than the Mónstá. The ships fought during the Invasion of Hyaxnox, where they deployed both Gigantor-class battle droids and huge numbers of marines and soldiers. Because landing a Béyémoz in a ship's hangar could be difficult, only highly experienced elite dropship pilots could pilot them. In the end this was solved when the Gigantor droid carrier, also known as the Flying Hangar, was produced, as this carrier had only a huge hangar which took up the whole ship except the cockpit. The hangar was seventy feet tall, more than ample space to for the Gigantor droid and Béyémoz-class dropships to move around comfortably, the hangar also had a through-deck, so the dropships could enter and exit the ship in a straight line didn't have to go through the annoying and dangerous task of turning a fifty-foot tall and a very long ship around within a comparatively small hangar. There was also a vehicle dropship variant, this variant carried land vehicles like the FT-2 Floating Tank and LFT-2 Light Floating Tank to the surface.
