- Richard H. Thomas, also known as Dick Thomas, was an American background artist. He first worked for Warner Bros. Cartoons as part of the Bob Clampett unit; he was later transferred to Norm McCabe, Frank Tashlin, and finally Robert McKimson. After a stint with Disney (which included Sleeping Beauty), he became one of the primary background artists for Hanna-Barbera in the 1960s. His later work includes Rocket Robin Hood and Spider-Man for Krantz Films, The Pink Panther and other cartoon stars from DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, and later animated features from Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera. He retired after working on Garfield and Friends.
