| - Jevonna Willowleaf grew up in between the Shadow District and the River District. She had once lived deep with in the Shadow District, with her huge extended family. Her father and uncle operated a small, but very successful business supplying both Districts with meat, fur and hides. Once her father had enough imperials saved, he had a farmhouse built in Sweetwater. He moved his immediate family there. Jevonna didn't want to leave, but she followed along under protest. Meanwhile back in the Shadow District, her Uncle had been running a small gambling room in the backroom of their home. Now that Jevonna and her father was gone, he expanded his business to include their house. Two of his sons, still hunted and helped their uncle run the hunting business, but he and his oldest son oversaw the gambling house every night. Jevonna would often come and serve the gamblers. It was her philosophy that as long as their tankards remained fill of ale, their purses would remain open. Slowly, her interest in gambling grew and every so often she would try her hand at a game of dice or cards. Jevonna's father had to literally drag her from the house and bring her back to Sweetwater. He then forbid her from visiting them again. Jevonna hated life outside of the District. She didn't care much for the nobility and felt uncomfortable while around then. Since she left the District, she promised her father she would learn a trade -but only if she could pick it. She choose hunting. One, because she thought her father wouldn't go for it and two, she had always secretly enjoyed the thrill of a hunt, a thrill that was second only to gambling. When she was younger she taught herself how to hold a bow and when her brothers found her, they helped her hone her skills. They would often sneak off and hunt small game. For once they were both happy. Her father, because she was out of the District and into a decent profession. Jevonna was happy because she got to spend time in nature and away from the Nobles she didn't like to much. Also, she was happy because she got to sneak into the District every so often and triple her earnings in a few quick games.
