These droids were attempting to exterminate biological life on the planet so that they could rule it for themselves. Ozurist asked a traveling hero to travel into the Works and save Thermodraft, as its destruction would result in a massive explosion and radiation leak that would kill billions. The hero was able to release the pressure values on Thermodraft's exoskeleton, releasing the pressure and averting the disaster.
