Balam Acab is the electronic project of Alec Koone, based in Ithaca, New York, and Pennsylvania. Koone began recording as a teenager as a high school student in Pennsylvania, but released his debut EP, See Birds, as a student at Ithaca College in New York. Koone's debut album was released in 2011, entitled Wander / Wonder on Tri Angle Records. Koone has also produced remixes for Lana Del Rey, Twin Sister, and Lushlife.
