During the Clone Wars, the Odeinian Clone Commander Gree and Lieutenant Typho, secretly a members of the 353rd Legion, were assigned to protect and watch over him, for the duration of the war, and the two became good friends. The 442nd Company was naturally assigned to assist Jar Jar as his personal guard, during the war. After realizing the error of his ways, Jar Jar, along with his son, Abso Bar Binks would later join the Rebel Alliance in their efforts to overthrow the Galactic Empire, to correct the fatal mistake he made.
