Colgems's Greatest Hits was the Monkees' first compilation album, containing 14 tracks—seven singles and seven album-only songs—and released in June 1969. It notably contains the stereophonic debut of "A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You" in a mix markedly different from the mono single. The album reached #89 on the Billboard 200 album charts. Though it has been released in various tape formats, including cassette, 8-track, and reel-to-reel, it has never been officially released in a digital format, though all the mixes are present on other compact disc releases. In 2012 it was reissued for the first time by Friday Music on 180-gram vinyl.
