Corps Commander Acei Brovey is the only human to have achieved the rank of a corps or fleet commanding officer in the Nymean military. He was among the many refugees from the Battle of Coruscant that were evacuated. As a former field officer of the Galactic Alliance army, he was qualified to command a corps of troops. In order to satisfy the large Coruscanti population in the Ascendancy, he was placed in command of the Tenth Nymean Corps which protected the Expansion Region where most of the Coruscanti settled. Around three quarters of his force are Coruscanti. He is a tough and capable commander who has close alliances with Jorelas and the Triad Party. He desires closer friendships with outside peoples especially humans. The prejudice against humans in most areas of the Ascendancy have caused him to stay mainly on Corus, Taiphath, and Trivasi. He has been on the front lines several times in the Horothrium War and has been wounded twice.
