Synopsis
  • Blue Devil busts up a drug deal and runs into Black Lightning, who is also there to bust the deal. They both state that they are trying to take down crimelord Tobias Whale, but Black Lightning does not believe Blue Devil. A fight ensues, but Blue Devil quickly gets the better of Black Lightning and tries to make him listen, when he is interrupted by the LAPD, whom is ready to open-fire. Black Lightning takes that opportunity to run off, and Blue Devil manages to escape as well. The next day, Jefferson Pierce's father visits him at Grassland High School where he works and divulges that he has inside information on "the Whale". Meanwhile, "the Whale" is outraged that costumed heroes are disturbing his plans, and orders his cronies to take care of them. The thugs stage a crime to draw out the heroes and manage to plant a tracking device on Blue Devil, whom had responded. Alvin confronts some of Tobias' thugs and things start to go wrong, but luckily Black Lightning is keeping an eye on things. However, Liam Cassidy is not quite as lucky when other thugs, following the tracking device, locate Blue Devil's suit which Daniel had taken off and returned to the costume room where it belongs...
