  • "The Pleasure of Your Company" is an original song from the 1979 television special John Denver & the Muppets: A Christmas Together. The song begins in the writing room as John Denver and the Muppets go over the script. When they can't come to an agreement on how to quote The Bible, John silences the group and sings the question, "May I have the pleasure of your company, as we share this warm and friendly Christmas show?" The number ends with Miss Piggy and Foo-Foo riding around the gazebo in a horse-drawn sleigh, as she and John share a kiss, framed by a seasonal wreath.

When they can't come to an agreement on how to quote The Bible, John silences the group and sings the question, "May I have the pleasure of your company, as we share this warm and friendly Christmas show?" After Kermit and Piggy sing a few bars, the song is interrupted by a gust of wind and snow blowing the door open. John steps out to investigate, and a small town center appears out of thin air. It is populated by a number of people shopping for Christmas gifts, Fozzie Bear as a Salvation Army Santa Claus, Statler and Waldorf, The Electric Mayhem in a gazebo, Link Hogthrob in his Patrol Bear uniform, The Swedish Chef roasting chestnuts, a small police brigade, and a pair of young ballerinas. The number ends with Miss Piggy and Foo-Foo riding around the gazebo in a horse-drawn sleigh, as she and John share a kiss, framed by a seasonal wreath.
