The Egg Disk was a floppy diskette that came with the original Creatures 1 game. If you wanted to hatch a norn you would have to insert this disk, and when you imported an egg, a file on the disk would be deleted - well, actually it just stopped it loading the file. You could use the Emergency Kit outside of Creatures 1 to put eggs back on the disk, but this would also reset your game.
