- Ranking (also commonly known as a leaderboard) is a small grey applet displayed below certain Dan-Ball games where it is possible to gain a score of some kind. File:Ranking SC.png These games are generally non-simulation, and give more of a challenge to users than other games. This applet allows the user to view the scores or times of certain stages or modes within the corresponding game. The user is able to select a stage, mode, or the total of all stages/modes to be displayed, from certain links above the applet. The user then can see their best ranking and the name of who set the score, as well as the top 100 rankings out of everyone who played for the stage or mode that was selected.

- Rankings are determined by how well you do in the tournament. MyBrute publish the rankings here: [1]. Rankings in order from highest to lowest: For example, to get the title of Brutal Legend, you must at least reach the final of a tournament.
- Ranking is a gameplay mechanic seen in some games of the Fire Emblem series. Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War saw the introduction of rankings at the end of the game to grade performance of players according to specific goals, normally relating to areas such as number of characters dead, total turns to complete the game, and so forth. Endgame rankings featured in every game after Genealogy until Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones where they were removed in favour of tower/ruin run rankings. In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, endgame rankings were relegated to Trial Maps only, the main game merely ranking characters on kills instead of the player on performance.
- Ranks of players depend on how much experience they have earned in-game. Once they meet the requirements (earned enough EXP) of a specific Rank, they will earn the title of that Rank. The more EXP players obtain, the higher their rank will be. Listed below are the details of the current Ranking system throughout different CrossFire versions, including the Ranks and the required EXP.

If you are playing against a player that is better then you, your rank will increase more if you win and less if you loose. It works the other way around as well: If you beat a player with less ranking you will also increase your ranking less and vice versa. If you loose against a player with a lower rank then you, you'll loose a lot of ranking so be careful and stay focused.

To rank, you get a ship that works for which type of ranking you want to do. Package or assassination (explained later). Then you choose a route that you wish to do. It should have multiple starbases with high populations to let you get the most missions. Then you get multiple missions from the bulletin boards at planets and starbases. that you can complete (called stacking). Etc., get 15 kill 2 YSD missions. You'll only need to kill two to complete them all. After that, you complete them (This is explained in higher detail in the mission type specific sections.)
