Jan Hoopen is a politician from Kirlawa, a member of the Reformed Political Party, and from February 2337 Minister-President of Dorvish-Uwakah. Jan was born the son of Pieter Hoopen, the Episcopal Bishop of Takana in 2275. As he grew up he became he was educated in the Episcopal University of Kirlawa and was involved in the Far Right National Fascist Front, and was elected to the House of Representatives in 2304. Remaining a backbencher, albeit a relatively vocal one, especially over his twin concerns of protecting the Episcopal Church, and improving relations with Dorvik, he left the fascists in 2315, joined the Reformed Political Party.

Jan was born the son of Pieter Hoopen, the Episcopal Bishop of Takana in 2275. As he grew up he became he was educated in the Episcopal University of Kirlawa and was involved in the Far Right National Fascist Front, and was elected to the House of Representatives in 2304. Remaining a backbencher, albeit a relatively vocal one, especially over his twin concerns of protecting the Episcopal Church, and improving relations with Dorvik, he left the fascists in 2315, joined the Reformed Political Party. Through the 2320’s he developed his control over the Uwakahn branch of the RPP, developing a set of beliefs and supporters that were clearly different from the rest of the RPP. Alone amongst the five regional parties within the Hoopenists in Uwakah proposed establishing a state Church. He was also Mayor of Takana from 2321 to 2329. In the early 2330’s he was heavily involved in the removal of André Rouvoet from the leadership position, however he himself lacked support amongst the national party, and failed in his attempt to become leader of the party. With the outbreak of the Kirlawan-Dorvish Border War in autumn 2333, Hoopen was given a new opportunity to gain power, and actively encouraged collaboration with the Dorvish forces. With Dorvish control of north eastern Uwakah confirmed by the establishment of Dorvish-Uwakah 2336, Hoopen effectively became the chief civilian advisor to the Dorvish Military Occupation Authority, and he February 2337 he was appointed the Minister-President, the Head of State of the state of Dorvish-Uwakah. Jan Hoopen passed away in August 2341 Jan has been married to Martha since 2305, and they have four children.
