The dweebit was a small reddish-brown beetle native to the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy, and brought into the galaxy by Yomin Carr. They were installed on the world of Belkadan, where they emitted extremely noxious fumes, converting the atmosphere to a mix of carbon dioxide, methane, and sulfur, killing or mutating all wildlife on the planet. Yomin Carr considered these dweebits as his pets. Dweebits were also installed upon Tandun III, where, along with untold numbers of other Vong biots, they contributed to the planet's eventual destruction due to unchecked activity.
