  • Owen William Sanger (born April 20, 1999) is an American politician who served as the 50th President of the United States. He was the youngest president breaking the previous record held by President Theodore Roosevelt, and youngest ever elected, beating that previous record held by President John F. Kennedy. In addition, Sanger is second consecutive president to be from Florida and the first of the millennial generation to assume the presidency. Born in New Jersey, and raised in Florida, he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. He entered politics as a volunteer for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Sanger served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Florida’s 13th district. Following his election to the U.S. House of Representatives after three full terms in office, Sanger ran a grassroots funded campaign for the Senate seat in Florida being vacated by outgoing Senator Patrick Murphy. He later went on to win the primary with 60% of the vote. He would later go on to win the general election in an even larger margin of voters than previously anticipated, and became only the third milennial to be elected to the United States Senate. He would later leave office with a 70% approval rating, the highest recorded for any president since President John F. Kennedy. In 2036, Sanger received national attention after being considered as a potential Democratic running mate selection. He was ultimately featured on many shortlists to be potential presidential candidates in 2040. He later began his presidential campaign in 2039, and after a close primary campaign against Chelsea Clinton and eventual Vice President Jon Ossoff, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic Party’s primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated incumbent president and Republican nominee Ron DeSantis in the general election in a victory referred to many as ‘unexpected’ and ‘surprising’, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2041.
