abstract	Gtel Canay was born in 495 ABY. At the age of five, Gtel found a Holoprojector of a Sith Lord which was revealed to be Darth Charon. His father saw what he was holding and snatched it away from his hands and threw it off the balcony. He warned him about the dangers of the sith, and too never reveal his force-sensitivity. Gtel was angry and didn't believe his father's story about the sith. However, when the Sith took power over Cato Neimodia during the start of the Second Triumvirate War, and the Neimoidians were forced to serve their loyalty to the Emperor Darth Charon. When a Sith Lord entered Gtel's home, Gtel was amazed how powerful he was, and he went with him after he left his family to be enslaved. The Sith Lord took the young one to be raised on Korriban and learn the ways of the dark side of the Force. While training at the Academy with several sith, Gtel saw a flashback when his father warned him about what the sith would do. Gtel ignored those words and was taught how to embrace the anger, fear, and pain. At the age of ten, Gtel became an expert in espionage and secret activity at the academy. He traveled to the tomb of Darth Krayt where he learned the secrets of the One Sith and how they returned after the Rise of the Galactic Empire. Gtel kept those secrets to himself and didn't want to spread any to the other students from the academy. During a training session, one of the students, Frank Onor, planned to blackmail Gtel since he discovered his secrets. Gtel engaged Frank to a lightsaber duel, and eventually killed him before he could spread the word to anyone, including Darth Maverick, Headmaster of the Academy. Maverick was impressed by Gtel's talents, and sensed how strong he was in the dark side. He would become one of the strongest students in the Academy.
