John Flesch (born July 15, 1953) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He was drafted by the Atlanta Flames in the fifth round, 69th overall, of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. He played 124 National Hockey League games with the Minnesota North Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Colorado Rockies. He was also drafted by the World Hockey Association's Minnesota Fighting Saints; however, he never played in that league. Flesch spent the next six seasons in the International Hockey League and retired in 1986. In the NHL Flesch scored 18 goals and 23 assists in 124 games.

  • John Flesch (born July 15, 1953) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He was drafted by the Atlanta Flames in the fifth round, 69th overall, of the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. He played 124 National Hockey League games with the Minnesota North Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Colorado Rockies. He was also drafted by the World Hockey Association's Minnesota Fighting Saints; however, he never played in that league. Flesch played junior hockey in 1971-72 for the Sudbury Wolves, then of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. In 1972-73 he played a season for Lake Superior State University. He turned pro in 1973-74 with the Omaha Knights and then made the North Stars the next season. In 1975-76 he only played part of the year with the Stars and then was sent down to the minors. In 1977 he signed as a free agent with the Pittsburgh Penguins and played 29 games that season. His last NHL stint was 5 games for the Colorado Rockies in 1979-80. Flesch spent the next six seasons in the International Hockey League and retired in 1986. In the NHL Flesch scored 18 goals and 23 assists in 124 games.
