Hi, im TheBen10Mazter, a rollback here at ATW. Im a administrator/bureaucrat at three Wikia projects, they are, w:c:ben10:, w:c:projectexonaut, and w:c:ben10answers:. Being a testing admin here would allow me to test a few administrator tools that i am not familiar with and test a few scripts aswell as protecting my userpage sub pages. Thanks! Please provide a link to a diff edit on the wikis you mentioned to confirm your identity. If you have a Wikimedia Foundation account, please provide a WMF diff as well. Thank you. TK999 14:56, October 2, 2011 (UTC) * w:c:ben10:special:listadmins, w:c:ben10.answers:special:listadmins, w:c:projectexonaut:special:listadmins, and i am not part of Wikipedia or Wikimedia. From, Mazter * Those indeed confirm the rights, but not the identity. A past Wikia case saw a vandal use Russian characters to create exact doppelgängers of users that he then used to make malicious edits. Therefore, it's necessary to provide a diff. TK999 15:21, October 2, 2011 (UTC) * Here you go, 10 Diff, as you can see, only admins can edit the profile, Exonaut Diff, its also admin only page protected, and 10 Answers Diff, admin only page edited at by me. From, Mazter * File:Face-smile.svg Thank you TK999 15:31, October 2, 2011 (UTC) * File:Symbol support vote.svg Support TheBen10Mazter has been active on ATW for a while now and has done little to no harm. As he is an Admin on a few Wikis, he would need to test some things and ATW is the perfect Wiki for that. He has my full support. * Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment: See below. — SpikeToronto 10:59, October 15, 2011 (UTC) * I stand by my reply to Jempcorp's neutral vote. * File:Pictogram voting question.png Question: Do you stand by these edits? — Jeff G. ツ 14:37, October 12, 2011 (UTC) * File:Symbol neutral vote.png Neutral I would normally say support in these cases going by the activity of the user, but Jeff has given a good point: Do you stand by the edits given above? I would say that is vandalism, and not a good way to go — Jempcorp {user page | talk} 16:43, October 12, 2011 (UTC). * No, i don't stay by those things. If you read above, i congratulated 'roo, as you can see, TK was sorta joking about how im not a sysop, and i joked too. As you can see, 'roo does not mind about those edits as he could have removed them. Yes, i think i was foolish, but i am a very nice and good contributor here at ATW. Also, i believe i transcluded it correct, but it was said i did not, i read it over the directions and the transclusion page, how do i exactly tranclude it? Please leave out any links or telling me to read something as my eyes are not so good and reading a lot of paragraphs make them worse (it's due to some eye problems), sorry for the inconvenience. :) From, Mazter * Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment: Just because TheBen10Mazter made a mistake doesn't mean he shouldn't have rights here. (On a normal Wiki, I'd make a neutral vote do to this but as ATW is a test Wiki and TheBen10Mazter wishes to test the Admin-bit on it, I still support this request.) * I believe now I transcluded it correctly. Thanks. :) From, Mazter * Image:Symbol oppose vote.png Firm Oppose For oh so many reasons … in no particular order … This RfR would not even have gotten started if Kangaroopower had not broken the rules and fixed it for B10M. B10M had flagged the RfR for deletion; it was only bureaucratically restored because we do not delete any RfRs. ’roo should not have then re-activated it by fixing B10M’s errors. B10M’s inability to do it without ’roo’s well-intentioned, but impermissible, assistance speaks to the former’s lack of wiki-competence, an issue requiring more work by the applicant, as he well knows. It has been pointed out on several occasions by other Wikians that B10M is somewhat of a rights collector when he does not really require them (e.g., he could ask to have his user subpages protected, were they being vandalized, which they are not). As an instance of rights collecting, the requestor once made a large fuss regarding rollback privileges. This gave rise to much talkpage discussion amongst ATW members. Moreover, B10M’s request and the kerfuffle it engendered necessitated an entire morning’s worth of round-robin email discussions amongst the Active Bureaucrats Group. His request for rollback was granted, at which point he informed us he would not be using it, nor has he. On another occasion, B10M once commented that too many of our pages were unnecessarily protected at the sysop-only level (true), which prevented him from being able to contribute (also true). I asked him for a list of such pages for review and possible change. The list was never provided. Was there really a desire to contribute, then, or just a laying of the foundation for obtaining admin privileges? Finally, HBH makes what, at first glance, is a seemingly valid point about B10M’s participating at ATW. However, while B10M participates frequently, he contributes very little. And yes, as HBH says, B10M has done no technical harm to the wiki, nor do I suspect that he ever would. But, his glaring lack of maturity — evidenced by his many, many Chat kickbans over at Community Central — has engendered much aggravation and consternation among the membership. I would need to see consistent, unwaveringly mature behaviour from B10M before I could support a future RfR. — SpikeToronto 10:59, October 15, 2011 (UTC) Ooh, that hurt, okay thanks for participating in my RfR. :) From, Mazter * Image:Symbol oppose vote.png Oppose I don't believe you meet the required competence or maturity to become an admin at ATW at this time. * Image:Symbol oppose vote.png Oppose As above. TK999 07:42, October 16, 2011 (UTC) * Image:Symbol oppose vote.png Oppose, adminship on a test wiki shouldn't be a big deal. Would appreciate it if he didn't edit my comment. ajr 00:35, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * Just to clarify, i did NOT change it from a neutral to support, he supported me already, then i added the support template after. From, Mazter 01:01, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * Changed to oppose in response to repeated attempts by the user to get me to change back to support. ajr 01:05, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * As Jimmy Wales put it: “This should be no big deal.” TK999 12:38, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * Exactly, so why is there this complicated process, especially considering that someone could just create a wiki here to test the tools? ajr 13:20, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * To prevent abuse and to measure one's competence. Making the RfR conditions more lax would create a false view in a candidate who might be ineligible for adminship on his/her home wiki. The possession of the administrator right is not a big deal, but the competence that is necessary for this is. TK999 13:43, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment: TK, I think you have under-quoted Mr. Wales. If I remember correctly from the discussion at Wikipedia, he goes on to qualify that statement. Also, the statement was made in the context of the ridiculously difficult RfA process at Wikipedia. In comparison, ours is a breeze. This particular RfR is most likely not going to succeed for one of two reasons: (1) it is technically defective inasmuch as it was not the requestor who corrected the request form, but rather another editor with this edit; or (2) the count is currently 1/5/1 1/4/1. — SpikeToronto 21:55, October 17, 2011 (UTC) * Also to clarify, he first gave me a support, then i added the support template for him, he did not like that so he changed it to neutral, then he changed it to oppose because i asked him to change it back to support as all I did was just add the support template for his original support. From, Mazter 19:14, October 17, 2011 (UTC)Bureaucrats' closing notes and conclusions File:X mark.svg Closed. By a vote of 1/4/1, the consensus appears to be against adminship for this applicant. — Jeff G. ツ 02:19, October 18, 2011 (UTC)
