The Government of Jill is a hybrid government with mixed principles from federalism and representative democracy that is based on the framework created by the Constitution of Jill. Jill's government is split into three branches, the legislative, executive and judicial branches. The national government of Jill cooperates with the smaller district governments — some districts have such low populations that they barely have functioning governments — in a system similar to federalism. The national government is viewed as having a much larger amount of power than the district governments, which are limited to strictly local matters.
