Masao Okazaki is an artist and designer who has contributed to the Star Trek Magazine, and whose space station and starship designs have graced the covers of several Star Trek: Vanguard novels, as well as inspired authors of other Star Trek series. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Okazaki now lives in Tokyo and is a full-time medical school associate professor editing research manuscripts and teaching English language. In his spare time he maintains his website, The Starfleet Museum which is a collection of historical ship designs, mostly created by himself.
