| - The Cabinet of Austenasia is the supreme legislative body of the Empire of Austenasia. The Cabinet is comprised of one Representative (or Member of Cabinet) from each Town in the Empire. The Cabinet meets with the Monarch and Prime Minister to make new laws. When in this legislative role, they are collectively known as Parliament. Due to the nature of the office of Prime Minister, he/she is usually included in the Cabinet as a Representative. However, even if the Prime Minister loses the office of Representative, they would stay as Prime Minister and so while not being part of the Cabinet would still attend Parliament meetings. Representatives are the only people eligible to hold the offices of Home Secretary, Chancellor, Chief Ambassador, Secretary-General, Minister for the Environment, or Minister of Defence.
