| - El Korba es una bioforma resistente y viciosa. Prefiere esconderse por encima de su terreno de caza, esperando a su presa, cuando está a su alcance, el Korba atrapa a su presa. El Korba se ayuda en los Recolectores para hacer levitar a sus victimas a un punto en donde pueda devorarlos. Lo que el Korba no puede digerir, se los da a los Recolectores. Ésta relación simbiótica funciona bien para ambos.

| - The Korba is a vicious, resilient bioform. It prefers to lurk above its hunting grounds, waiting for prey. The Korba relies on the smaller Snatchers to levitate victims to a point where the Korba can devour them. What the Korba cannot digest, it expels to feed the Snatchers. This symbiotic relationship works well for both Korba and Snatchers.

| - Korba was one of the original Fedaykin under the command of Paul Atreides during the Arrakis Revolt. After Paul succeeded Shaddam Corrino IV on the Golden Lion Throne, Korba became a leading priest on Paul's Qizarate. His official title was "Panegyrist." 12 years after Muad'Dib's Jihad swept across the known universe, Korba became embroiled in a conspiracy to martyr him. This conspiracy included Princess Irulan Corrino, Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam, Edric the Spacing Guild Navigator, and Scytale, the Tleilaxu Face Dancer. Korba was killed after his complicity in the conspiracy was discovered. In the TV miniseries, the character of Korba is altered so instead of a desire to martyr him so his religious power would increase drastically, Korba was a rebel hating the Atreides Empire (the Jacurutu). He was also seen to be a friend of the child (and future corrupt-priest like Korba) named Javid.
