When he was finally arrested, Mikaela refused to cooperate with the police and wound up with a record of her own. After years in foster care at one new school after another, Mikaela is attempting to put her criminal past behind her, but still finds herself attracted to bad influences and retains her ability to hot-wire and drive just about anything on four wheels.
