The Celestial harpoon is one of the three Celestial tools and is considered the best harpoon in the game, and is capable of catching fish 500% faster than a normal harpoon. A player would need 80 Mining, Smithing, Fishing, Cooking, Woodcutting and Firemaking in order to acquire the items that unlock the seal to the room with Lord Bascull inside, but then the player would have to go up against this gruesome monster which is incredibly difficult to defeat, even then after the beast is defeated, it only has around a 1/500 chance of dropping the harpoon, so it's proven that acquiring the harpoon is very difficult if a player cannot afford to buy it from the Grand Exchange. This is also the only degradable harpoon in the game. After it fully degrades, it should be taken to either the Fire balancer, Earth balancer or Water balancer, who will repair it back to 100% but with a cost of 10 Sacrite ores, 10 Red dolphin and 10 Marbury logs, which can only be acquired with level 80 is the same skills, as mentioned before, effectively adding a level requirement for repairing the harpoon. If a player doesn't meet the requirements, they'll have to sell the uncharged harpoon and buy a new fully charged one, which involves a loss of 500,000 coins. The harpoon also has a hidden ability, where there is a 5% chance of receiving 2 fish in one catch, and a 3% chance of receiving 3 fish in one catch. If a player doesn't have enough space to hold the double or triple catch, then the extra catch will simply drop on the ground.
