Now that it seems that the Fire Nation made their own version of the submarine in Smoke and Shadow part 1, I insist to have the Waterbending-powered submarine renamed "Submarine" only. IAmNothing712 (wall • contribs) 21:45, September 30, 2015 (UTC)

IAmNothing712 (wall • contribs) 21:45, September 30, 2015 (UTC) I haven't read the comic yet, so I don't know how the FN submarine looks but are there any similarities between these two vessels beyond the fact that they're both a submarine? Because the waterbending-powered ones are specific due to there "power source". Because unless there is an incredible amount of info about the FN submarine, I don't think a renaming of this page is necessary, and we can do with a mention of it in the waterbending-powered submarine's trivia and a mention on the FN military page perhaps -or some other page related to vessels. 21:50, September 30, 2015 (UTC) I disagree. The submarines and the waterbending-powered submarines are not one and the same. Zuko himself even says that they were based off and inspired by the ones Sokka designed, so Lostris' note of adding it to the trivia of any relevant pages is sufficient, given that we know very little about it. Just the trivia should be fine. 03:59, October 1, 2015 (UTC) It depends, if there is not sufficient enough information to warrant a separate page for the FN subs, we may as well just have them as one page and rename it to "Submarines". 03:51, October 3, 2015 (UTC) If we get more information on the Fire Nation submarines, then we can likely create a page about them. Until then, I agree with Duke's idea, making a page for both, with a section for each nation's submarine, something similar to what we have for this or this. SorcererSupreme21 (wall • contribs) 22:30, October 4, 2015 (UTC) I don't see why it's necessary to create a united "submarine" page which would essentially shift the focus from the waterbending-powered variant to a generalized submarine type, given that we have no concrete understanding of what the Fire Nation submarine even does. Rewriting the page to include two sections would be useless, as the bulk of the information would still pertain to the waterbending-powered type with one or two sentences about the Fire Nation submarine (which could very well be practically identical to the waterbending-powered submarine in terms of its design and operation). Given all that we know about the submarine used by the Fire Nation- and that quite literally is an insubstantial amount- there is no need to completely restructure the article. At this point it's more than enough to note the existence of new submarines on the trivia sections of all pertaining articles, and if and when more information about the schematics and operation of the Fire Nation submarines do emerge then we can reevaluate and restructure as needed.
