  • The Crusader tank is a tank used during the events of Call of Duty 2 in the North African theater.
  • Relatively inexpensive and easy to obtain, the Crusader mounts a 120mm cannon, which is effective against tanks and other vehicles. The Crusader comes from a "scaling down" project of the known M1 Abrams series, culminating in two competing prototypes, the Crusader and the more advanced Paladin. Both prototypes share advancement such as automation to the point where a single crew member can operate the unit almost immediately, and weight reduction (credited from crew reduction effort) which enable the currently operating Chinook to (theoretically) carry two of these tanks.
  • The Tank, Cruiser, Mk VI or A15 Crusader was one of the primary British cruiser tanks during the early part of the Second World War. Over 5,000 tanks were manufactured and they made important contributions to the British victories during the North African Campaign. The Crusader tank would not see active service beyond Africa, but the chassis of the tank was modified to create anti-aircraft, fire support, observation, communication, bulldozer and recovery vehicle variants.
  • The Tank, Cruiser, Mk VI or A15 Crusader was one of the primary British cruiser tanks of the early part Second World War and perhaps the most important British tank of the North African Campaign. The Crusader's mobility made it a favourite of British tank crews and once upgraded with the Ordnance QF 6 pounder main gun made it more than a match for the early Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks it faced in combat. Retained in service because of delays with its replacement, by late 1942 the lack of armament upgrade combined with the presence of Tiger I Tanks among the Afrika Korps and reliability problems due to the harsh desert conditions, led to the Crusader being replaced in the main line of battle by US-supplied M3 Grant and Sherman medium tanks.
