The Galactic United Systems Marine Corps, abrevviated GUSMC and also known as the GUS Marine Corps or simply the Corps, was a branch of the Galactic United Systems Armed Forces and formerly a branch of the GUS Navy responsible for delivering combined arms tasks (ground, space, air, and sea forces) rapidly. They worked very closely with all of the branches in the GUS Military, most notably the Navy for training, transportation, and logistic purposes, even though the Corps was a separate branch with its own ships and personnel. Depending on the area, they were generally organized into regiment or brigades, which saw more duties and activities than the Army or the Navy.
