The CT-AC was the carbine version of the CT-AR. It was smaller in scale than the CT-AR, the CT-AC lacked its larger cousin's range, but was easier to handle than the bulkier CT-AR. It had a faster rate of fire and the CT-AC also featured a folding stock for enhanced aiming with braced firing. CT-AC fired charged plasma bolts, activated by Plasma gas carried in replaceable blaster cartridges. These gas cartridges lasted for around 60 shots, with soldiers usually carring around 5 spare cartidges.
