- Merc (voiced by Dorian Harewood) is the captain of a flying ship who appeared in two episodes: "Raiders of the Lost Shark" and "Beast or Famine". He is also seen at the end of Aladdin and the King of Thieves, when Aladdin and Jasmine finally get married.
- Merc was one of the two combat bots that Big Al salvaged and gave to Ratchet which assisted him during his DreadZone challenges. He worked alongside his companion Green.

- The Merc (mercenary) was the driver of the vehicle that mounted the automatic weapon assault on the van thought to be trtansporting Gabriel McDow to a safehouse. He was coerced into bringing Mark Benford, who was posing as Gabriel, to a warehouse where Lucas Hellinger was waiting.
- MERC Industries produced Merc MUD, a portable version of DikuMUD that made the art of running MUDs available to a wider audience. The Merc group split shortly after Merc 2.2, and the remaining members reformed as Envy Communications. EnvyMUD, or Envy as it was called in its documentation, became the successor form of Merc MUD. Merc's OLC, which was a user contribution from the NiMUD team, was renamed EnvyOLC but remained in compliance with the NiMUD license.
